Vága, 1939; On March 14, 1939, the village of Vága in Mátyusföld was annexed to Hungary. The Czechoslovak officials and military handed over the village to Rezső Tornyai, a Hungarian army captain, at 12 noon. Since Trianon (1920), the border settlement had once again belonged to Budapest.
