* Košice, 1816 – † Budapest, March 26, 1881 / engineer, one of the builders of the Bratislava–Nagyszombat railway in 1844 ; ; He completed his studies at the Pest Engineering Institute (Institutum Geometricum) in 1836. In 1867, an unfavorable expert opinion served as a reason for postponing and thwarting the construction of the Trans-Tisza Irrigation Canal. Known work: Lecture on the Tisza–Kőrös Navigation and Irrigation Canal, 1867.
