* Káposztafalva, July 14, 1888 – † Miskolc, November 23, 1959 / forest engineer, inventor ; ; He obtained a forest engineering diploma from the Mining and Forestry Academy in Selmecbánya in 1911. After several decades of private engineering activity, he was the chief engineer of the forest offices in Rozsnyó and Miskolc. He designed and built large-scale timber sliding equipment, a 200 thousand cubic meter water reservoir in Bustyaháza, public roads, railways, and a ropeway.
