* Nemesócsa, 1925 – / military officer, psychologist, college professor ; ; He graduated from the Zrínyi Miklós Military Academy in Budapest in 1957. He served as a military officer in the Hungarian People's Army, working for the longest time at the Training Group Headquarters of the Ministry of Defense, and then taught psychology at the Zalka Máté Military Technical College. His interest turned to psychology early on and he realized that the knowledge and experience of civilian psychologists are not always sufficient in the army. He also graduated from ELTE in psychology in 1963, in pedagogy in 1965, and in 1969 with a doctorate in humanities. Thanks to his encouragement, more and more professional soldiers graduated in psychology. He is also included in the volume Self-portrait with a background: autobiographical writings of Hungarian psychologists (ed.: Péter Bodor, Csaba Pléh and Gusztáv Lányi, 1998), which presents 33 Hungarian psychologists. ; ; His main works: ; Officer's career: Career reflections, 1972, ; Military pedagogical and psychological studies I–IV.
