* Losonc, March 21, 1831 – † Losonc, March 13, 1909 / amateur botanist, bank clerk ; ; He finished high school in his hometown and the commercial academy in Pest. He was a merchant in Losonc, and from 1870 he was the cashier of the city bank. He studied the flora of the Losonc area and published several papers on his observations (Nature, Hungarian Botanical Journals). Parts of his herbarium can be found in the Slovak National Museum in Bratislava and the University of Agricultural Sciences in Nitra. He also dealt with gardening and won several awards at domestic and international exhibitions.
