Ingredients: ; 0.5 l cornmeal ; 1 l water ; 1 teaspoon salt ; 1.5 dl semolina ; ; Preparation: ; Boil the water with the salt and add the twice-washed cornmeal. When it boils, stir in 1.5 dl semolina. Then reduce the heat and cook, covered, stirring occasionally, until the cornmeal is soft. You get a nice, hard porridge, which you chop onto a warm kneading board using a slotted spoon. It dries out a little here and cools down. Then place it on a greased baking sheet, then reheat with toasted breadcrumbs and bacon (you can also do this in the oven). Serve with cottage cheese. ; ;
