His widow immortalized the memory of Ferenc Kubó, who fell in the battles of Doberdó in World War I, with a tombstone, under which he himself, along with their two children, found peace.

The heroic death on the Doberdó plateau / in 1915 at the age of 21 / Ferenc Kubó / His memory is preserved by this tomb / erected for his unforgettable dear husband / by his faithful wife, overcome with grief. / Here rest in the Lord / our two dear children / József Kubó / born 7 Nov. 1913 / died 22 Nov. 1914 / and Józsika Kubó / born 5 Apr. 1915. died 14 May 1915./ Peace to their dust! / and Ferencné Kubó / + 28 Aug. 1960, at the age of 64. / His sacrificial life is thanked with gratitude, his departure / is mourned with pain and his loved ones / pray for eternal happiness.
