After studying at home and abroad, he taught at the Department of Botany at the Economic Academy in Magyaróvár, and from 1900 he worked in the vocational education department of the Ministry of Agriculture. He participated in several international economic education congresses. He was a corresponding member of the Association de la Presse Agricole and a member of the British Highland vocational education committee. He returned to Óvár in 1904, where he taught zoology and the keeping of small domestic animals. From 1905 he was again an employee of the ministry, and mainly dealt with issues of renewing vocational education. During the bourgeois democratic revolution, the Agricultural Education Association was formed on December 10, 1918, and he was elected its president. The association came up with the following reform demands, among others: the establishment of an agricultural university, the elevation of academies to colleges, and the creation of an elected dean's office. He remained in the ministry during the Soviet Republic: he worked in the vocational education department of the People's Commissariat. Due to his role, he was neglected during the Horthy era and retired in 1920.
