* Mágócs, November 18, 1858 – † Bratislava, November 1, 1935 / teacher, educational writer ; ; In 1880 he obtained a civil school teacher's diploma. From 1881 he was the director of the Kismarton state civil school, from 1906–19 of the Bratislava state civil school, and then until 1926, until his retirement, he was a teacher of the Czechoslovak state German-language civil school. In his studies, he mainly dealt with the problem of civil school labor education, organizational issues, and educational issues of secondary school students, especially the problems of educating them to be self-active and independent. He is the author of several biology textbooks.
