* Párkány, April 8, 1973 – / religious historian, associate professor ; ; He spent his childhood in Ipolyszalka, where he also completed his primary school education. He graduated from the Hungarian Gymnasium in Bratislava in 1991, received a diploma in history in 1998 from Masaryk University in Brno, and a master's degree in religious history in 1999. He taught at the Comenius University in Bratislava from 1999 to 2001, and from 2001 he was an assistant professor at the Department of Comparative Religious History there, and from 2011 he was an associate professor. ; He also regularly lectures at the Department of Social Anthropology at Masaryk University in Brno. He has been on several study trips to North Africa (Morocco) and the Middle East (Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, Iran). His main research area is Islamic culture and religious history. His studies are published in Hieron, Nový Orient, Axis mundi and other journals, as well as in conference proceedings. He is also a regular speaker at the International Vámbéry Conferences in Dunaszerdahely.
