He studied philosophy and law at the Bratislava Academy. He obtained his law degree in 1824. He was present at the “long parliament” between 1825 and 1827 as the secretary of the representatives of Nitra County, during which he kept a diary and dealt with legal philosophy issues. Following Montesquieu (1689–1755), he wrote his work Fundamental Assumptions and Conclusions. Between 1826 and 1837 he worked as a sub-notary of Nitra County. On ancient properties c. His work received an academy award in 1838, and on this basis he became a member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
