* Párkány, February 26, 1974 – / mathematician, university lecturer ; ; He spent his childhood in Szőgyén, where he graduated from primary school in 1988. He graduated from the Mechanical Engineering Vocational School in Komárom with a degree in automation in 1992. He obtained a mathematics and physics teaching certificate from the Konstantin Philosopher University in Nitra in 1997, a doctoral degree in 1998, and a PhD degree in 2005. Between 1997 and 2004, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics of the University of Nitra, and between 2004 and 2005, he was an assistant professor at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics of the Faculty of Central European Studies of the university, deputy head of department in 2005 and then head of department until October 2006. 2006–2008 Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Central European Studies, Dean since 1 April 2008. Member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences since 2007. His main research areas are number theory and mathematics teaching methodology. In 2009 he was awarded the Mayor of Érsekújvár Prize, in 2012 the Rector of the University of Nitra Prize, and in 2014 the Arany János Medal.
