During the deportation to the Czech Republic in 1947, three families from Felsőszeli were put in one of the wagons, the families of Alajos Deák, István Horváth and Géza Deák. They got off in Podbořany, where the farmers selected them. Géza Deák's family was sent to the village of Blšany, in German Flöha. They took part in agricultural work, the children went to Czech school.
