* April 1, 1921, Bishop of Bratislava - † November 26, 2015, Nádszeg / papal prelate, communion priest of the Diocese of Bratislava, editor ; ; According to the Hungarian Catholic Encyclopedia, he studied at the gymnasiums in Bratislava and Komárom, and graduated in Esztergom. He studied theology in Esztergom and Bratislava between 1941-46, and was ordained a priest on June 23, 1946. He was a chaplain in Zselíz, Érsekújvár, Aranyosmarót (1948), Nagytapolcsány (1949), and a parish priest in Mellek (1950), Vágkirályfá (1951), Somorjá (1957), Vajká (1966), and Pozsonyboldogfá (1970). ; In 1949, he was imprisoned in Aranyosmarót for the “Mindszenty Trial” in Bratislava. On December 28, 1949, after the communist takeover of Czechoslovakia, he was the victim of one of the show trials against the Catholic Church. The pretext of the trial was the liquidation of the self-defense organization launched during the complete disenfranchisement of Hungarians (Beneš decrees), and the aim was to prevent intimidation and data collection. ; One of the founders of the Hungarian church book publisher Glória, and between 1990 and 2000, he was the editor-in-chief of the Catholic weekly newspaper Remény. In 1948–1949, he spent several months in pretrial detention due to his activities in defense of the Hungarian people. He also published religious articles, prayer books, and religious textbooks. In 2001 he was awarded the Silver Plaque of the Government of the Slovak Republic, and in 2007 the Fraknói Vilmos Award of the Hungarian Ministry of Education and Culture.
