* Alsólopassó, April 4, 1710 – † Pécs, May 2, 1777 / Bishop of Pécs, patron and patron of contemporary science and literature ; ; He completed his university studies in Nagyszombat, was ordained a priest in 1733 and soon became the secretary of Ferenc Klobusiczky (Prešov, November 29, 1707 – † Pest, April 5, 1760), later Archbishop of Kalocsa. In 1740 he was a canon of Bratislava, in 1741 of Esztergom and archdeacon of Nitra. In 1751 he became the regional bishop of Pécs. In this capacity, he added 15,000 volumes to the Pécs episcopal library, which was later named after him, acquired countless certificates relating to Hungarian history, created a numismatic collection and established an observatory alongside the library. In 1774, he was the first to make the episcopal library public in Hungary, thus laying the foundation for the later Pécs university library. In 1769, he petitioned Maria Theresa to open a university in Pécs as a successor to the university founded by Louis the Great in 1367, which proved short-lived, and offered both an episcopal and a private printing press as the financial basis for this, while the spiritual basis of the institution would have been the seminary founded by Count Zsigmond Berényi, Bishop of Pécs, in 1739. The university; It was ultimately not established, primarily due to Klimó's early death, but the queen authorized the establishment of the printing press by János József Engel (1738–1796), supported by Klimó, in a decree dated February 5, 1773.
