Currently, Športový Klub Váhovce is the official Slovak name (in Hungarian: Vágai Sport Club), but it was also TJ Slovan Váhovce (in the 1950s), TJ Družstevník Váhovce (in the 1970s), and then FC Družstevník Váhovce.
