* Ipolyság, March 18, 1950 / physician, medical historian, associate professor ; ; He spent his childhood in Palást. He began his schooling here at the local Hungarian school, then graduated from the Ipolyság high school (1968). He earned his medical degree from the Comenius University Faculty of Medicine in Bratislava in 1975. He began his career in the internal medicine department of the Ipolyság hospital, later working as a district physician first in Ipolyság, then from 1990 until his retirement in 2013 in the Csilizradvány in Csallóköz. Between 1991 and 1995, he was an invited assistant at the Department of General Medicine of the Institute of Continuing Medical Education in Bratislava, and from 2005, he was an invited lecturer at the St. Elizabeth College in Bratislava. In 1998, he became a candidate of historical sciences. He was habilitated as an associate professor at the University of Debrecen in 2011. He has been working on the history of medicine since the mid-1980s, primarily researching the lives and activities of doctors who lived and worked in the Uplands. He publishes his studies and articles in Slovak (A hét, Gömörország, Honti Lapok, Csallóköz, Remény, Új Nő, Lekársky Obzor, etc.), Hungarian (Orvosi Hetilap, Orvostörténeti Közlemények, etc.) and Transylvanian Hungarian journals. He is a specialist editor of Orvosi Hetilap. ; He also works on scientific dissemination and the pathography of famous people. He appeared weekly on the Hungarian broadcast of Slovak Radio and Pátria Radio for years with his medical advice. He edited the manuscript of Károly Weszelovszky's (Námesztó) health reform plan (The Urgent Need for Reform – Dr. Károly Weszelovszky's 1865 Proposal for the Regulation of Public Health), which was published by Madách-Posonium Publishing House in 2013. He also edited and edited the Palócia Border Fortress 850, a village history reader presenting the past of the village of Palást (2006), and Péter Puskás's Honti csillagok 1848 egén (2007). In recognition of his work, he received the Zsámboky Memorial Medal of the Hungarian Medical History Society (2000), the Silver Plaque of the Government of the Slovak Republic (2002), the Markusovszky Prize several times (1987, 1993, 2006, 2013), the Jedlik Prize of the Szímő Municipality (2006), the János Esterházy Memorial Medal (2007), the Antal Genersich Prize (2008), the István Weszprémi Memorial Medal (2010), the Pátria Prize of the Pro Patria Homeland Knowledge Association (2010).
