* Nagykapos, April 28, 1944 – † Bratislava, September 3, 2013 / historian, publicist ; ; He graduated from Nagykapos in 1961, and obtained an archivist's diploma from the Comenius University in Bratislava in 1967. He received his PhD in history in 1978. In 1969, he was the archivist of the Csemadok, in 1970–1986, he was a colleague of the Institute of Party History in Bratislava, in 1986–1990, he was the editor-in-chief of Új Szó, then its editor (until 1995). From 1996, he was a colleague of the Political Science Cabinet of the SZTA, and from 2000, he was a colleague of the Institute of Political Science. His research area is Czechoslovakia in the 20th century. history of the 19th century, within which he dealt extensively with the situation of the Hungarians in Slovakia and the minority youth movements in the period after 1945. His studies were published in Hungarian and Slovak. As a publicist, he also dealt with literary and cultural issues.
