* Sátoraljaújhely, 1813 – † Rozsnyó, December 30, 1883 / physician, naturalist, specialist writer ; ; He obtained his medical degree at the University of Vienna in 1838, and then his doctorate at the University of Pest in 1840. He settled in Rozsnyó and worked there until his death. From September 1848, he also served as a doctor of the Rozsnyó Home Guard Battalion. He is credited with founding several facilities in Rozsnyó. In 1855, he started meteorological observations in the city and was the head of the station until 1860. He initiated the construction of the city swimming pool and the development of the Grand Promenade. He was an active participant in the Traveling Meetings of Hungarian Doctors and Naturalists. He conducted mineral water analyses in the Rozsnyó area, described the mineralogical and geological conditions of Dobsina, dealt with the ethnography of Gömör-Kishont County, and wrote biographies of two prominent Rozsnyó physicians: György Marikovszky and Károly Kósa. He published a study on the Jászó cave in the journal Magyarhoni Természetbarát, on the analysis of the water of the Rozsnyó iron bath in the Works of Magyar Orvosok és Természetvizszálók Munkálatai, and published his foreign travel notes in Gyógyászat.
