The Demänová Cave, located on the northern side of the Low Tatras, is the longest cave system in Slovakia. The outstanding cave of the system is the Demänová Freedom Cave, which has long fascinated visitors with its rich and diverse stalactite formations, the mysterious Demänovka Stream and its fabulous lakes. It is the most visited cave in Slovakia.
