King Louis

* Selmecbánya, April 14, 1894 – † Miskolc, May 21, 1970 / forestry engineer ; ; He was a forestry student at the Selmecbánya Mining and Forestry College. He was a soldier until the end of World War I, and earned a forestry engineering degree in Sopron (1921). Engineer at the Szilvásvárad Forestry Company, later head of the forestry company, and central supervisor from 1946. Regional manager of the Miskolc Forestry Company (1949–1952), and then until his retirement (1955) of the Forestry Construction Company in Northern Hungary. He actively contributed to the renovation of the Tokaj-Hegyalja vineyards, to the protection against the destruction of the fertile soil in the mountains and hills, and participated in the establishment of the National Soil Protection Council and the development of the water supply of Nagy-Miskolc. His articles were published in Borsodi Technical Life and the Hydrological Journal.
