* Vajka, April 18, 1884 – † Budapest, November 26, 1973 / teacher, museologist, ethnographer ; ; He graduated from the Bratislava gymnasium and obtained a teaching certificate from the Budapest University of Science and Technology in 1908. He then taught in Znióváraljá, Stubnyafürdő, Somorjá, and Bratislava, and was appointed director of the Léva teacher training college in 1939. In 1945, he settled in Budapest, where he worked as a senior associate of the Hungarian Agricultural Museum until his retirement. During his teaching career in Somorjá, he organized and established the Csallóközi Museum in Somorjá in 1927–1929, of which he was also director until 1940. The museum's material was placed in various public collections after 1945, and its legal successor was established in Dunaszerdahely under the same name in 1964. As a museologist and researcher, he primarily dealt with the folk customs and beliefs of Csallóköz, art history relics, and the fishing life of Csallóköz, and he regularly wrote articles about this in the Bratislava News, Szülőföldünk, Csallóközi Hírlap, and in professional journals.
