* Károlyháza, August 8, 1864 – † Bratislava, February 2, 1948 / publicist, historian ; ; His father was a farm officer on various Pálffy estates. He spent his childhood in Bátorkesz, and completed his secondary school studies in Esztergom and Budapest. In 1884, he settled in Bratislava, where he was the city's chief accountant between 1894 and 1924. After retiring, he began to deal with the history of Bratislava and its surroundings and art history research. He published in contemporary Hungarian and German newspapers in Bratislava, and his monograph Pozsony a XVII. században was published in sequels by Híradó in 1927.
