Gábor G. Kemény, Gusztáv Krausz

* Košice, 2 June 1915 – † Budapest, 8 November 1981 historian, literary historian, librarian, bibliographer ; ; He began his school studies in his hometown, and earned a teaching degree in 1937 and a doctorate in 1944 at the Pázmány Péter University of Science in Budapest in the department of Hungarian-French history. Between 1945 and 1957, he was the deputy head of the National Széchényi Library, and between 1957 and 1962, he was the scientific head of the Institute of Literary History of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. In 1973, he founded and headed the Nationalities Bibliographic Research Group of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences until 1980. His main research area is the history of Hungary in the 19th century, the situation of nationalities and national minorities in East-Central Europe. He was one of the editors of the series "Documents to the History of the National Issue in Hungary in the Age of Dualism", which was published in seven volumes between 1952 and 1999.
