Arpad Kecskes

* Léva, March 18, 1940 – / physicist, university lecturer ; ; Léva graduated from high school (1957), obtained a teaching certificate in mathematics and physics at the Faculty of Pedagogy in Bratislava (1961). From 1961, he was an assistant professor at the Faculty of Pedagogy in Nitra (today: Constantine the Philosopher University), from 1964 he was an assistant professor, from 1980 he was an associate professor, from 2002 he was the head of the department, from 1999–2002 he was the deputy dean of the Faculty of Pedagogy. From 1974 he was a candidate of chemical sciences. He translates Czech and Slovak primary and secondary school textbooks.
