* Vásárút, May 9, 1827 – † Szolnok, February 7, 1893 / Roman Catholic priest, writer on church history and local history ; ; He began his school studies in Gúta, then completed six classes of high school in Komárom. In 1845 he entered the Franciscan order, then studied philosophy in Szeged and also dealt with history. He studied theology in Gyöngyös, took religious vows in May 1849. In 1850 he was ordained as a priest in Kecskemét. From 1851 he taught in various high schools, later he served in Fülek, Eger, and Detké. From 1863 he was deputy abbot of the monastery in Vác, in 1868 in Szolnok, and a year later again abbot of the monastery in Vác. He worked in Szolnok from 1889 until his death.
