* Cífer, 27 January 1886 – † Budapest, 26 November 1981/ special education teacher, psychologist ; ; In 1911 he obtained a special education teacher's certificate in Budapest. But before that, he taught at the Israeli Institute for the Deaf and Dumb, which was relocated in 1907 and opened to other denominations. From 1926 he was the director of the Deaf and Dumb Institute. From 1945 he was a lecturer at the Budapest Special Education Teacher Training College, and from 1951 he was the head of the speech therapy department.
