* Tőkés/Romania, March 22, 1862 – † Budapest, October 26, 1947 / linguist, textbook writer, principal of the Levant High School ; ; He completed his secondary education at the Szamosújvár Junior High School and the Kolozsvár High School. In 1886, he obtained a Hungarian-Greek-Latin teaching certificate in Budapest. He taught in the capital until 1889, after which he was a teacher in Levant, and then principal of the Royal Catholic High School until 1919. After the change of empire, he settled in Pesterzsébet, where he participated in the founding of the town's girls' high school with his daughter, Ilona Kalmár, who was a teacher (1931), and also taught at the institution as a pensioner. He published the results of his linguistic work in articles published in the Journals of Linguistics and the Nyelvőr. He also wrote several textbooks.
