* Pográny-Egerpuszta, November 2, 1830, - † Törökbecse, August 25, 1849 / Forty-eight lieutenant, martyr ; ; He was the brother of Viktor Jánoky, also forty-eight, and came from Egerpuszta, which belongs to Pográny. He served in the 4th Home Guard Battalion and later became a sergeant in the 74th Battalion. Lieutenant on June 13, 1849. After the surrender of Világos, he died a heroic death on August 25, 1849 near Törökbecse.
