* 1 September 1715 Szina, † 1 January 1783 Rozsnyó / Jesuit naturalist ; ; He completed his university studies in Nagyszombat, studying logic, physics, and metaphysics. His master was Ferenc Kéri Borgia. He was a university professor first in Vienna and then in Nagyszombat. In 1771 he became the rector of the University of Nagyszombat. After the dissolution of the order, in 1773 he became a canon of Rozsnyó. The mechanical approach prevailed in his natural philosophy. His university textbook on physics, which summarizes the knowledge of the mid-18th century in a modern way, was one of the first such works in Hungarian terms.
