* Zólyom, April 22, 1898 – † Friesenheim, May 6, 1965 / Jesuit monk, philosopher, university professor ; ; He studied philosophy in Innsbruck and Valkenburg, then was prefect in Feldkirchen and at the Pius College in Pécs. He graduated in theology from the University of St. Gregory in Rome. After a few years in America, he taught logic and metaphysics at the Budapest College, the first Jesuit in 150 years. Private teacher (1935), then public extraordinary teacher at the University of Budapest. President of the Holy Cross Association (1942). He did a lot to help the persecuted during the German occupation (1944). He was a teacher of philosophy and religious philosophy at the Szeged College (1945–1949), then left for the West (1949). In 1951–1954 he was a colleague of Radio Free Europe.
