* Bán, 1799 – † Budapest, October 23, 1886 / physician ; ; He obtained his medical degree from the University of Pest in 1826. He was first the personal physician of Archduke Joseph and Palatine, then of Archduke Stephen and Palatine, and after 1848 he worked as a practicing physician. He was the third president of the Royal Medical Association of Pest, founded in 1837, between 1841 and 1846. ; He was one of the most diligent contributors to the first Hungarian medical journal, the Medical Archive.
