* Udvard, 19 June 1880 – † Budapest, 18 November 1961 / special education teacher ; ; From 1904 he was a teacher at the Budapest Institute for the Deaf, then its director between 1911 and 1942. In 1918–1925 he was also the head of the “State Course for the Correction of Speech Disorders”. In 1940–1942 he was the director of the Special Education Teacher Training College. Between 1930 and 1933 he edited the journal The Education of the Deaf and the Blind.
