"After nearly 5 years of exclusion, Hungarian-language education was finally able to resume in Vága. Thus, on November 1, 1950, under the leadership of the appointed director József Osztényi, the 1950/51 school year began with four classes within the framework of the Hungarian-language NATIONAL SCHOOL. From the following school year, the school was expanded by one class and, in addition to the NATIONAL SCHOOL, the incomplete SECONDARY SCHOOL also began its operation, which was expanded with the 2nd class starting from the 1952/53 school year. The NATIONAL SCHOOL continued its educational work under the leadership of directors Lajos Csomor and Vilmos Jeszenkovits. These two separate institutions were merged from the 1953/54 school year, which then operated under the name of the NINE-YEAR SECONDARY SCHOOL until the 1958/59 school year under the direction of director Vilmos Jeszenkovits. From the 1959/60 school year, teaching has been taking place within the framework of the NINE-YEAR SECONDARY SCHOOL under the leadership of the new director Lajos Csomor. ; The school was reorganized again from the 1960/61 school year and continued to operate as the NINE-YEAR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL. The number of students at the school gradually increased until the 1961/62 school year, when it reached 336, and then decreased continuously again. From the 1969/70 school year, Antal Somogyi was temporarily entrusted with the management of the school, who eventually held this position until the first half of the 1989/90 school year.
