“The consecration of the new flag of the Illésháza fire department took place last Sunday, in a grand ceremony. The bright ceremony took place in the presence of 198 firefighters and an unimaginably large crowd of spectators. The ceremony was opened by a church service, and the local parish priest consecrated the flag in a high-flying speech. The leaders of the fire department were hosted by landowner Gyula Kiss. ; In the afternoon, the fire department participated in a firefighter party held at the innkeepers Boldizsár Fekete and Titus Mészáros and stayed together in a pleasant atmosphere until the early hours. ; The participants of the beautifully successful ceremony left Illésháza, enriched with a pleasant memory, whose residents surrounded the large number of guests with genuine warm love.” (Felsőcsallóköz.1928.
