* November 4, 1946, Bratislava, / editor ; ; Born in Bratislava, graduated from the Hungarian-language gymnasium in Duna Street (1963), and in 1967 earned a teaching certificate in music from the Pedagogical College in Nitra. He taught for five years in Komárom and Pozsonypüspöki. From 1972, he was a Hungarian-language vocal and music specialist at the ethnic minority department of the Institute of Folk Culture in Bratislava. His duties included professional management of the Hungarian choir movement in Slovakia, methodological consultancy, central professional further training of choir directors, organization of national choir competitions and festivals – Kodály Days, Csengő Énekszó –, publication of choir collections, methodological specialist books, announcement and publication of competitions for new Hungarian choral works, organization of seminars. He published on the topic in daily and weekly newspapers (Új Szó, Hét, Nő, Szabad Földműves). He was the music editor of the Hungarian-language broadcast of the Slovak Radio (1985–1992), and from 1992 he edited other programs. After his retirement (2002) he became an external collaborator of the Pátria Radio.
