* Horvátzsidány, 29 September 1728 – † Bratislava, 9 March 1810 / Jesuit priest, church writer, historian, university professor ; ; He entered the Jesuit order in October 1744, lectured on philosophy, rhetoric, mathematics and gave humanities classes in Nagyszombat. He was a teacher in Győr from 1766 to 1768, then left the order and served as a parish priest when he moved to Košice. From October 1774, he taught rhetoric in Buda, and was then appointed professor at the university in Nagyszombat, which had been relocated there. When the theological faculty was moved to Bratislava in 1785, he also moved there.
