From 1907 to 1965, until his retirement, he worked at the Rókus (now Semmelweis) Hospital, from 1934 he was the chief physician, and from 1952 he was the deputy director of the hospital. His merit is the organization of the unified management of the capital's hospitals, the planning, development and testing of the model of healthcare institutions serving one area.
