Dezső Hodosi Karátsony (* 1837-1897) was born into a wealthy noble family in Réte. Their family can be traced back to 1274. He died of a stomach hemorrhage at a young age. He was the Director of the Szenc Savings Bank and a wealthy landowner. ; His wife Mária Bokros (* 1837-1897, † 1970?). He was born into a wealthy Szenc family. After her husband's early death, she managed the 150-acre estate alone and raised her two children. ; His son, Árpád, was taken prisoner by the Russians in March 1945, where he died in October 1947. His daughter, Erzsébet, became destitute at the end of World War II due to the death of her husband and the deportations. She found refuge with her children in Ménfőcsanak with her mother-in-law. ; After the nationalization, Slovak families were settled in the manor house (Hrubý and Hankó family, Árva-m.). He lived in great poverty, he could not see his daughter and grandchildren for a long time. The families living next to him took care of him, returning the kindness he had given them before the war. ; The house was demolished by the village, and a shop was built in its place. After 1989, a street was opened on the plot.
