Hetény's butcher shop

The Vörös family ran a butcher shop in Hetény. Ernő Vörös and his wife Hermina, along with their two sons Lajos and Ernő, set up the shop on the village's Main Street. During the deportations and resettlement, everyone was afraid that their house would be taken away, so the atmosphere in the village was tense. One day, while walking down the street, the young Vörös boys noticed an elderly man. The man stopped in front of their house and stared at it intently. At that moment, Lajos ran out into the street to distract the man, and to add momentum to his agitation, he also held a boning knife in his hand. The man was never seen again in Hetény. ; There were several houses on the plot. Uncle "Tubi" lived in one of them, who got his name from the pigeons. He did not speak Hungarian, and the people in the yard spoke Slovak. They only understood that the uncle always talks to his pigeons and calls them "Tubi-tubi". Hence the nickname.
