The Butcher Shop in Barti was founded by Kálmán Bréda at the beginning of the 20th century, around 1910. After his death, his son József Bréda took over the management of the shop. During World War II, the shop was completely destroyed. In 1946, József reopened it on church street, close to the local grocer and the restaurant. After 1948, the Jednota Consumer Cooperative took over, but József Bréda continued to run it in his own family home. Until the end of the 1970s, when József Bréda retired.
