* Bratislava, April 25, 1873 – † Budapest ? / agricultural specialist, mycologist ; ; He obtained a diploma in 1893. He studied at the Sorbonne in Paris and at the Paris Plant Pathology Station. He was an intern at the Academy of Economics in Magyaróvár. From 1889 he worked at the Magyaróvár Seed Testing and Plant Biology and Pathology Station. He took over the management of the Station in 1911 and, after its transfer to Budapest in 1913, he worked there until 1919. He mainly dealt with diseases of wheat and rye, root rot of sugar beet, fungal diseases of lupine and the control against them.
