* Garamolaszka, 7 July 1803 – † Budapest, 2 November 1887 / physician, royal councilor ; ; In 1828 he obtained his medical degree from the University of Pest. He then settled in Tolna County: he became the director of the Szekszárd hospital. He lived in Pest from the 1840s and was the dean of the Pest medical faculty in 1845–1846. He was a sought-after physician, and he also dealt with public affairs and contributed to the prosperity of the Hungarian capital. In 1873, he was the government commissioner when the three city districts (Buda, Óbuda, Pest) were united. In addition to medical articles, he also published economic writings (e.g. on rinderpest and vaccination against rinderpest).
