* Szliács, July 21, 1870 – † Budapest, 1941 / physician, cardiologist, honorary university professor ; ; He earned a degree from the Faculty of Medicine of the Budapest University of Science and Technology, then went on a study trip abroad, and upon returning home in 1906, he obtained a private teaching qualification in the pathology and therapy of heart diseases at the University of Budapest. But even before that, he had been a doctor at the Erzsébet Poor House Hospital in the capital since 1901, where he later became chief physician. From 1913, he was the chief physician of the internal medicine hospitals on the left bank of the Danube. His studies and books deal with heart diseases.
