* Prešov, 1682 – † Prešov, 1759 / doctor of medicine, chief county physician ; ; He completed his secondary education in his hometown. He studied medicine in Frankfurt-Oder, Berlin and from July 16, 1706 in Wittenberg, where he obtained his doctorate in medicine in 1710. He practiced in Poland for a year, then returned to his homeland and worked as the chief physician of Sáros County for 40 years. He was occasionally invited to Poland, and was even appointed court physician to August II. Due to the unexpected death of Count Ferenc Barkóczy, who supported the writing of the book and intended to publish it in Nagyszombat, his work Hydrologia, seu historia regni aquosi in qua ad imitationem regni animalis, mineralis et vegetabilis, penitior non modo soteriarum sed omnis generis aquarum theoria ad amussim hydrostaticam, traditur, which summarized his medical experiences, the description of the most important diseases and the method of their treatment in three volumes, remained in manuscript. Maria Theresa's personal physician, Gerard van Swieten (1700–1772), who was an advocate for the establishment of the medical faculty of the University of Nagyszombat, also wrote appreciatively about the work in one of his letters.
