The leader of the Garam Menti Folk Dance Ensemble dances at the XXV. National Folk Art Festival in Zselíz. ; The ensemble was founded in 1952 alongside the Lévai basic organization of the Csemadok. The founders' goal was to introduce, promote and preserve local and regional folklore. Over the past years, 8 choreographers, 5 orchestras and a few hundred dancers have changed. The ensemble successfully represents our ethnic culture not only at home but also abroad. This is evidenced by the numerous awards, cups and certificates of recognition. They have already received the Csemadok Outstanding Folk Art Ensemble award twice, and on the occasion of the ensemble's 60th anniversary, the general manager of the Národné Osvetové Centrum expressed her written respect to the ensemble and its leader Gyula Halász for their many years of work in the field of culture in order to preserve traditions. ; The artistic director and choreographer of the ensemble has been Gyula Halász for more than three decades (1969-1990, 2001-2014). His choreographies are mainly drawn from the Hungarian regions of Slovakia.
