Vága, late 1940s; The Vág River provided a good opportunity for the development of the local mill industry. ; In the 1960s, 17 Vága ship mills operated on the Vág River, and the statistical data also mention 17 millers here. Each of the mills – given the different water levels – was able to grind about 8 meters of grain in 24 hours. In the early 1880s, we know of 13 ship mills in the Vága region, whose owners were the following people: József Kiss and Mihály Horváth, József Forró and János Boledovics, Jankó Józsa, József Kiss, Mihály Szabó, elder István Józsa, Imre Bilcsik, Jankó Kamenár, János Kozmér, János Józsa, János Fördős and Antal Fördős, Móricz Gyevát and István Gyevát.
