* August 22, 1949, Alsóbodok – † June 22, 2016, Alsóbodok / folk singer, cultural organizer ; ; Kindergarten teacher Erzsébet Gyepes was born in Alsóbodok on August 22, 1949. She started her schooling locally, then continued at the Hungarian Gymnasium in Nitra. She obtained her child-rearing qualification in Léva. She became a kindergarten teacher and then director of the kindergarten in Alsóbodok, so she could start cultural education with the youngest children. She was an active member of the Csemadok, and from the 1970s also of the local folklore group. She also played a role in the leadership of the latter. She took steps to ensure that the women's choir's song bouquets only draw from pure sources. The folklore group won numerous awards. He achieved success in church choir performances and leadership, but was also a member of the Central Choir of Hungarian Teachers in Czechoslovakia. He was an active participant in folk theater. He also appeared on state television with his solo singing. He also led children's groups and organized their stage performances. He was active in the local Red Cross branch, participated in social visits to children. He also worked for the local village office, primarily as a cultural officer. From the first half of the 20th century, the local deer or Hungarian bun in the local folk costume was gradually replaced by the so-called tótkonty, adopted from neighboring Slovak villages. Aunt Erzsi was the last person in the village who still wore the old Hungarian bun. She died on June 22, 2016, and her ashes rest in the cemetery in Alsóbodok, near the children's graves. Her husband, László Gyepes (Pataki), also played a major role in organizing the cultural life of the village. ; ; ; ;  ,
