Other - other

Vága, 1960s; In the old days, the deceased was cremated in the clean room. After the farewell at the house, the funeral procession was accompanied with sacred songs and prayers on the "Saint Michael's horse", i.e. the hearse used to carry the coffin, to its final resting place.; In Hungarian folk tradition, Saint Michael is by the side of the dying, helping them leave this earthly world and accompanying souls to the afterlife.
