* Bratislava, February 29, 1884 – † Budapest, October 27, 1971 / engineer, geodesist ; ; He received his degree from the József Technical University of Budapest (1906). From 1906 he was an assistant professor at the Department of Geodesy. He received his doctorate in 1910. He participated in the design and construction of numerous domestic and foreign hydraulic structures, and he designed the majority of the structures of the Csepel Free Port. From 1920 he worked as a surveyor, mainly dealing with subdivisions. His studies on the numerical design of subdivisions opened new paths in Hungarian geodetic practice.
